Running Meditation: I Used Everything You Gave Me

stretching-before-running

Are you aware of your gifts and talents? Is fear holding you back from accomplishing the goals most dear to your heart? Or is the day to day grind taking all your time and you find it difficult to do the things you really love?

Today’s running meditation:

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, “I used everything you gave me.” ~Erma Bombeck

As you begin to stretch preparing for today’s run, with every push you take to run faster and run longer, imagine yourself not only breaking a time and speed barrier in your run, but imagine yourself running through the barriers of your fears.

The fears that make you doubt your passion is valid enough, the fears that tell you that you don’t have enough time, the fears that tells you your unique contribution to the world doesn’t matter.

Your talents are an intricate part of the grand scheme of things and your authentic self is needed to raise human consciousness. It is vital that you be yourself and contribute what your most passionate about to the world.

Take off running, and with each push, release a fear that has held you back from contributing your unique gifts to the world.

Namaste!

Happy Running:-D
