Lately, I’ve been in awe with trees.
How they stand rooted in their truth regardless of the season
Stiff. Almost meditative. Patient and strong.
The tree isn’t afraid to let the dead things go
The tree isn’t afraid of abandon, she isn’t afraid to stand naked
branches bare, frozen, snow kissed and ice cold.
She knows that the sun is coming soon to give new life to her soul.
She buds and rebirths new leafs, nourishes them until they leave
Never clinging.
